Homemade YDS I recently borrowed the YDS from a member here and it got me to thinking about a way to build my own diagnostic cable. I searched the internet and came across several that appear to be a conversion from an OBDII 16 pin to a 3 pin to USB.
Some computer/ radio type folks that I work with said that it will most likely work. Has anyone here tried it?
I have a 16pin OBDII USB cable and it appears that I can purchase the 3 pin adapter for about $5.00.
If that is the case, I will start making these for the members.
